Our UNLIMITED 50GB SIM-only plan, 7-day short term plan and our UNLIMITED 125GB long expiry plan include unlimited standard international talk and text to 28 countries.
The UNLIMITED 65GB and UNLIMITED 80GB plans include unlimited standard international talk and text to 42 countries.
Our UNLIMITED 2GB, UNLIMITED 8GB SIM-only plans and our UNLIMITED 120GB long expiry plan do not include international talk and text and will be charged at our low cost international rates for any international usage.
If you want to call another country or you've used up your extra international minutes, you'll be charged at our low cost international rates and will need additional credit in your account (if you're on a prepaid plan), or will find the charges for any international usage on your next monthly bill if you're on a postpaid plan).
If you're on AS YOU GO, you'll be charged at our low cost international rates and will need additional credit in your account.
To make an international call from your device while in Australia, you’ll need to follow the below steps:
- Press + (on most mobile phones the + symbol is located on the * or 0 button)
- Enter the country code (you can get a list of country codes from our international rates page
- Enter the area code (If you’re calling a landline) and then the phone number (remove the first 0 if the area code/mobile number starts with 0)
For example:
- How to Call a New Zealand landline number of 09 934 4543? You would dial: +64 9 934 4543
- How to Call a UK mobile number of 020 7946 0116? You would dial: + 44 20 7946 0116
- How to Call a USA mobile number of (212) 361 4595? You would dial: +1 212 361 4595
- How to Call a China mobile number of (10) 83410308? You would dial: +86 10 83410308
- How to Call a Singapore mobile number of 6298 1143? You would dial: +65 6298 1143
To send an international text from your device while in Australia, you’ll need to follow the below steps:
- Press + (on most mobile phones the + symbol is located on the * or 0 button)
- Enter the country code of the number you're trying to message.
- Enter the mobile number (remember to remove the first 0 if the number starts with 0)
For example:
- To send an SMS to the New Zealand number of 021 456 7845 you would need to insert the number as +64 21 456 7845 into your phone so it can be messaged.
