Your plan will recharge automatically if you’ve linked it to a credit/ debit card, PayPal or bank account. How frequently is up to you:

Recharging your data

All your unused data gets automatically saved in your data bank for future use at the end of each prepaid period.

However, if your data bank is empty and you’ve exceeded your plan’s allowance, you have two options to stay online:

If your payment is declined, don’t panic!

There are several possible reasons for a payment declining, including insufficient funds, a lost or stolen credit/ debit card or an out-of-date payment method (such as an expired credit/ debit card).

Thankfully, it’s easy to update your payment details and retry your payment.

Recharging with an amaysim voucher

To recharge your plan using a voucher, you’ll need to purchase one before your plan expires, before following these simple steps to redeem it.

Recharging additional credit (for As You Go Credit or additional services)

You can recharge your credit at any time if your plan is linked to a credit/ debit card, PayPal or bank account. Simply choose from one of the options below:


  • Text TOP followed by your recharge amount to 568, e.g. TOP10 for a $10 recharge (you can recharge in amounts of $10, $20, $30, $40 or $50)

  • Open the app
  • Swipe up on the home screen and tap ‘Add credit’.
  • Select your recharge amount.

My amaysim

  • Log in to My amaysim.
  • Click on ‘Add credit’ on the Plan page.
  • Select your recharge amount.
