Apple ditching the headphone jack on the iPhone 7 sure had some people peeved, but it isn’t all bad news.

There are loads of wireless headphones for iPhone lovers on the market that you can use with your new iPhone 7. I’ve searched high and low to find you some of the best wireless headphones out there to make your iPhone 7 days a tad more enjoyable. Here’s my list of the top wireless headphones to suit every budget.

Pricing key:

Budget buys $ = less than $145
Mid-range matches $$ = between $145 and $349
Sleek splurges $$$ = more than $350

1. Jaybird Freedom Wireless - $$

Jaybird Freedom in-ear wireless earphones are one of the best options for fitness bunnies, letting you work out without cords getting in the way of your performance. Their sweat-proof, secure-fit metal design last for up to eight hours, enabling ultimate comfort and quality audio so you’ll never lose focus. It also has a dedicated sound profile app MySound which lets you customise the sound to the way you want and saves the settings into the earphones themselves.

2. Bose QuietComfort 35 - $$$

Bose are pretty much the kings of the noise-cancelling headphone world, and thankfully they’re now wireless too! While you’ll pay more for a pair Bose wireless headphones, they’re well worth the investment. Using Bluetooth to connect, they shut out the outside world so you can enjoy the sweet, sweet tunes uninterrupted.

3. Beats Solo 3 Wireless - $$

Another top-selling headphone brand we all know and love, Beats have taken the wireless plunge with the release of the Beats Solo 3 Wireless. They say it’s so you can ‘feel the music, not the wires’ – sounds pretty good to us. Beats wireless headphones look great, feel great, sound great and last for a whopping 40-hours. They also have on-ear controls and a microphone for volume so you can answer phone calls or use Apple’s Siri functionality.

4. Skullcandy Grind Wireless - $

If you’re after wireless sound without forking out too much of your hard-earned cash, Skullcandy Grind Wireless headphones are a good alternative. While the Skullcandy battery doesn’t last as long as the likes of Beats, they still last long enough for the work day (up to 12 hours) and are one of the best wireless headphones you can get your paws on if you’re on a budget.

5. Powerbeats3 Wireless Headphones - $$

Another option for those of you who like to get moving is the Powerbeats3 Wireless Headphones from Beats. These are a little different to the standard Beats design we’re used to, but they’re super lightweight, fit comfortably in and around your ears and have an adjustable cable management clip on the back to keep them nice and secure when you’re on the go.

6. Sony MDR-ZX770BT - $

Sony’s MDR-ZX770BT Bluetooth Headphones are a standout choice if you don’t want to spend over $100 but also don’t want to miss out on some of the other cool features around. The battery life lasts for longer than some other more flashy models (up to 17 hours for those of you who are interested), it delivers a great balanced sound and has hands free call functionality too – win!

Of course there are heaps of other wireless headphones that you can choose from, but hopefully this’ll put your mind at ease if the jack-less iPhone 7 is making you question which phone to get next. We’re only going to see more wireless accessories as time goes on, so now’s the time to make the switch! No more tangled cords to hold you back.
