There has to be something we can get for 20 bucks that gives us more respect than inflated rates and hollow ‘value’ inclusions. So (drum roll please) … I’m proud to introduce FLEXI!
We’ve been fighting against cap plans for a year and a half now. Based on the hundreds of thousands of Aussies that have switched over to amaysim, we reckon we’ve really struck a chord with people that use their phone a lot, as well as with people that are more casual users but still want good value for their hard-earned dough.
Feedback we get on Facebook, blog posts and through our customer service centre shows us there’s a gap in the middle. A lot of people don’t want to pay $40 a month when they won’t use everything a plan like amaysim UNLIMITED offers, but need something that stretches the budget a little further than AS YOU GO.
Some recent market research told us exactly what our customers had been saying – there has to be something we can get for 20 bucks that gives us more respect than inflated rates and hollow ‘value’ inclusions. So (drum roll please) … I’m proud to introduce FLEXI!
FLEXI- what you get
For only $19.90 for 30 days FLEXI offers top notch value – you only pay nine cents per minute for a phone call and nine cents per text. That’s 25 per cent cheaper than our low AS YOU GO rate of 12 cents, which is a cracker of a deal in anyone’s eyes!
$19.90 credit is included to use however you like. On top of that we also throw in:
- Unlimited amaysim-to-amaysim calls and texts nationwide
- Unlimited voicemail
- 500MB data
All the other stuff is what it’s always been with amaysim: no flagfall, no lock-in contracts and no nasty surprises like you get from so-called cap plans as you only pay the same low nine cents per minute or text if you spend more than your $19.90 credit.
If you use your half a gigabyte of data (updated – 500MB to be precise) you can buy a data pack or pay our casual rate of five cents per megabyte, so you’ll dodge data-driven bill shock.
It’s your credit to use how you like
You can use your FLEXI credit on services like international calls (now starting at six cents per minute), video calls, 13 number calls (at 29 cents per minute), and any other amaysim service. There are no weird buckets of funny-money that make it hard to get make the most of your mobile plan.
Check out all the details and rates for yourself. You’ll see that if you use all of your FLEXI credit on national calls or texts, you get up to 220 of either (or a combo of each – it’s up to you). The whole point is that for handing over $20 we want to make sure you get a great deal.
We’re pretty chuffed with FLEXI, but what really matters is what you think. Is this the kind of plan you, your family or mates are looking for? Does it help you control your mobile budget without being locked in? What else would you like to see?
Also, I’d like to tip my hat to Joe Searle, one of our Facebook fans who really stuck to his guns with his suggestions for a plan like this and had his feedback heard loud and clear. Nice one, Joe!
