Managing the settings for Call waiting, Caller ID and Call forwarding is straightforward and can be done through the Settings section of My amaysim, or the amaysim app.

Call waiting alerts you to a second incoming call while you’re on a call and you can enable/disable this feature through the Settings section of My amaysim, or the amaysim app.

Note: Conference calls are unable to be made using your amaysim mobile plan.

Having Caller ID enabled means your amaysim mobile number will be displayed to others when you call them to make your number private, untick the Caller ID option through the Settings section of My amaysim, or the amaysim app.

What is caller ID?

Caller ID (caller identification) is a phone feature that identifies an in incoming caller by a name and phone number. This lets friends, family and business contacts know who exactly is calling them.

You're able to hide caller ID in your phone settings and aving it enabled or disabled does not incur any additional fee. If you turn off caller ID and send a text message your number will still be shown, and caller ID will only work for calls to landlines and mobiles.

You can divert calls from your amaysim mobile number to another Australian landline or mobile number by activating Call forwarding through the Settings section of My amaysim, or the amaysim app.

Where can I manage my Call forwarding settings?

You can manage the settings for Call Forwarding in through the Settings section of My amaysim, or the amaysim app. You’ll simply need to type the number you’re wanting to forward your calls to in the Forward calls to box.

What are the charges involved with call forwarding?

Calls that are diverted to local Australian landlines and mobiles will be charged the rate of 20c/min (Call Forward Surcharge), plus the standard call rate of 15c/min which means there will be a combined cost of 35c/min.

We don’t support call diversions to international numbers.

How do I to setup an unconditional diversion to voicemail?

To setup an unconditional diversion to Voicemail, type the number 61411000321 in the Forward calls to box.
