How can I setup Direct Debit?
Before we can start processing payments from your bank account, we’ll need to verify your account details.
To begin the verification process, head to the Payment method section of My amaysim. Once there, follow these simple steps:
- Click Change
- Select the Direct Debit from bank account option from the dropdown list
- Enter your bank account details
- Select Save Details
Once this has been done, amaysim will deposit $0.01 into your nominated account and include a verification code next to this deposit. When the deposit has reached your account (1-2 working days), head the to My amaysim and follow the steps below:
- Click on the pop-up message that says Verify your direct debit account
- Enter the 6-digit Verification Code we sent to your Bank Account (Located next to the $0.01 deposit)
Your Direct Debit will then be verified and all future payments will be taken from this account.

When will I be charged?
- For Prepaid customers, the cost of your amaysim service will be debited through Direct Debit whenever your plan renews, when you purchase a new product or add additional credit.
- For Postpaid customers, you’ll receive a bill each month with a list of your monthly charges. We'll deduct these charges from your nominated account within 14 days.
