The cost of each call, SMS or data session will vary depending on the plan you’re using, however the way usage is measured is the same across the board. You’ll be billed per minute for calls, per standard text message (160 characters) for SMS and to measure your data usage, we use kilobyte (KB) rounding.

How will I be charged for calls?

With amaysim, you’ll be billed per minute for calls, which means there's a full charge when each minute begins - for example, if you make a call for two minutes and 40 seconds, you would be charged for three minutes.

How will I be charged for SMS?

You’ll be billed per standard text message which is 160 characters. The cost per SMS sent will vary depending on the mobile plan you’re using.

How will I be charged for data?

To measure your data usage,we use kilobyte (KB) rounding - this means we'll round up the amount of data you’ve used in a session to the nearest 1KB.

Where can I find my a history of my usage charges?

To access recent usage for your amaysim number, head to the Usage History section in My amaysim - once there you’ll be able to select the time period you want to view and check the details of any calls, texts and data that’s been used within the period.

You’ll be able to download any usage reports in PDF form if you want to look into the usage reports further.

Where can I find my payment/billing history?
  • If you’re Prepaid, head to the My Payment History section of My amaysim to access your payment invoices.
  • If you’re Postpaid (receive a monthly bill), head to My Billing History in My amaysim to access your previous bills.
