Sign up online at least business 3 days before you move
Simply sign up online, all we need is your personal and contact info, your moving date, new address and some form of ID. No lengthy paperwork, no hassles, we’ll take care of all the fiddly bits.
We'll confirm your application
We'll need to verify your meter details. This usually takes 1 - 5 business days. We'll also call you to confirm your personal and plan details.
We'll set up your energy connection(s)
Your service(s) should be connected by 6PM on the scheduled date. A technician will come by to connect your meter(s), so you'll need to ensure they are accessible on this day.
For electricity, the main switch must be in the off position. If not, the connection will need to be completed manually and a connection fee may be charged.
If your moving date is within two business days, call us on 1300 808 100 and we’ll organise an urgent connection.
You'll receive your first energy bill one month after you've switched
You'll receive your first bill one month after your meter is connected. Here at amaysim, we've never been fans of bill shock so you can say good-bye to the days of being lumped with a quarterly energy bill. Instead, you’ll pay a monthly instalment.
