Introducing our new and improved amaysim mobile app

Looking for the simple way to manage your amaysim mobile or data-only plan on the go? There’s a shiny new app for that!
Here at amaysim, we think life’s better when you’re not spending time on your telco. That’s why we’re always looking for ways to make owning a mobile amazingly simple.
We’ve been working behind the scenes to redesign our app and make it even easier to manage your amaysim mobile or data-only plan. I’m super excited to say that it’s time to lift the lid on our new and improved amaysim app for iOS and Android!

Our refreshed amaysim app has gotten a lot more than a makeover (but you’ll have to admit – it is really, really, ridiculously good-looking).
In fact, we went straight back to basics and looked at how our customers were using the old app, took on board all the feedback you gave us, and had real amaysim customers test absolutely every new idea before giving it the all-clear.
From all that we got one schmick app where you can now:
- Check your balance at a glance
- Manage your mobile or data-only plan on the go
- Top up on extra credit or recharge with a voucher in just two simple taps
- And customise your plan settings like call waiting, voicemail and roaming (just to name a few).
What's next?
We’re taking our time to perfect the experience for a few key features in the app and will be adding new ones soon – including the ability to add extra data if you’re Prepaid and check your plan usage history.
These actions are available in the app but you’ll be redirected to My amaysim to check your usage history and top up your data. If you’re running low on data, don’t forget that you can simply add 1GB for $10 by texting TOP1GB to 568.

Head over to the App Store if you’ve got an iPhone or the Google Play Store if you’re sporting an Android mobile to download our brand-spanking-new amaysim app.
The app is free (woo!) but it will use data to download (boo!) so connect to WiFi before downloading the app – that way you can save your data for better things, like “the floor is lava” memes or quizzes that tell you what kind of potato you are (yes, that’s a thing).
