We’ve recently simplified our product offerings to focus on delivering amazingly simple mobile and energy, and from 26 October amaysim will no longer sell home internet.

The good news is that our friends at Southern Phone (who are awesome at home internet) will be stepping in to become your new service provider.

Over the next month, you'll receive correspondence confirming when your service will be switched across, however you won’t need to lift a finger during this process and we’ll take care of everything during the transfer to Southern Phone. We can also confirm there’ll be no changes to your service, performance or the price of your existing plan.

I’m an existing amaysim home internet customer – what’s happening to my service?

All of our existing home internet customers are progressively being migrated to Southern Phone over the next month.

Over the next few weeks, you'll receive an email from amaysim detailing when your service will be officially transitioned to our friends at Southern Phone.

We’ll take care of everything during the transfer process and you won’t need to lift a finger.

Why have you decided to stop selling home internet?

Will there be any downtime during the transition period?

We’re working closely with our friends at Southern Phone to ensure there’s absolutely no downtime to your service and you won't need to do anything on your end during the transfer period.

If you do of course have any questions, Southern Phone have an awesome service team who will be able to answer any questions you have regarding the transition of your service and can be contacted between 8am-8pm (AEST) 7 days a week on 1800 82 85 97, or via their website.

Will I receive a confirmation once my service is transferred to Southern Phone?

Yes - you’ll receive notification from Southern Phone once your service has been officially transferred.

Will anything change regarding my plan details once I’ve been switched across?

The good news is that nothing will change regarding the speed, performance or price of your existing home internet plan and your plan details will remain as is once you’re switched across to Southern Phone.

Will there be any changes to my current billing cycle?

Your existing billing cycle will remain as is and nothing will change regarding when and how you pay for your home internet plan.

Who do I contact if I need assistance during the transition period?

Although we don’t predict you’ll need to do anything regarding the transition of your service, if you have any questions along the way, Southern Phone have an amazing service team who will be able to answer any questions you may have.

Will my other amaysim services (mobile and/or energy) be impacted?

If you’re existing an amaysim mobile, or energy customer, nothing will change with your other services. This change solely relates to amaysim home internet.
