Everything coming to Netflix Australia in May 2020

If you're anything like me, your Netflix account has probably taken a hammering over the past month. I mean let's face it, Netflix binging has become the new national pastime.

Thankfully Netflix has been providing the goods with shows like Tiger King and the Michael Jordan documentary; The Last Dance leaving us with endless memes and all-around entertainment.

May is set to continue the trend of quality content, with this months lineup headlined by the Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan produced, Hollywood. The show stars Darren Criss (Glee and American Horror Story) and follows a group of aspiring actors and filmmakers in a Post-World War II setting, as they try to make their Tinseltown dreams come true.

For the aspiring florists out there, check out The Big Flower Fight which arrives May 15 and is a competition show where florists compete to create wild floral installations.

Other Netflix Originals to keep an eye out for include History 101 - a series of snackable history lessons which focus on major scientific breakthroughs and social movements.

Meanwhile, Casi Feliz, starring Sebastian Wainraich, is worth adding to your watch list and tells the story of Sebastian, a successful radio personality that cannot enjoy his picture-perfect life because he struggles with the complicated relationship he has with the love of his life: his ex-wife.

The fourth season of fan favourite Rick & Morty returns with weekly episodes from May 6. If you're not a fan of pickle rick but are searching for some lols, look out for the hour-long special from Jerry Seinfeld, called Jerry Seinfeld: 23 Hours To Kill which arrives May 5.

On the licensed movie front, there's a stack of fresh Hollywood bangers set to make their way to the streaming platform, with this months lineup headlined by the Ryan Gosling lead First Man, acclaimed Tom Cruise action flick Mission: Impossible - Fallout, The Edge of Seventeen. The cherry on top is the addition of family classic, National Lampoon's Vacation which arrives May 15.
