UNLIMITED now includes calls to 13/18 numbers

Calls made to 13 and 18 numbers within Australia are now included as part of our UNLIMITED mobile plans.
We’ve heard a lot of great feedback since we launched amaysim UNLIMITED back in June last year. We’ve also heard loud and clear through Facebook, Twitter and our Aussie call centre, that 13 and 18 numbers are now the norm and should be included in amaysim UNLIMITED.
We’ve worked our bums off behind the scenes to figure out how to do this without raising our price for UNLIMITED and I’m proud to say we’ve cracked it! Calls made to 13 and 18 numbers within Australia are now included as part of amaysim UNLIMITED.

What does this mean? Simply put, it means you’ll get even more value from your investment in our UNLIMITED plans, which already include unlimited standard national talk and text, voicemail and heaps of data.
Despite the draconian numbering plan which drives up the cost of 13 and 18 calls (which the Australian Communications and Media Authority plans to look into), you won’t have to wear extra charges for calling them. A lot of essential services like banking, government departments, insurance and pizza delivery hotlines (hey, some people find this essential!) use these numbers, so we think it’s a good win.
I’ll keep it short and sweet on this one, but want to finish by saying thanks for your ongoing feedback. We can’t always act on all of your comments, posts and phone calls with suggestions, but when we can it sure does feel good.
