How do I know if I'm eligible?

Can I split the two mobile plans between myself and someone else?

Quick answer

You can share the second free mobile plan with someone else, however both numbers will need to be hosted under a singular account (the account linked to your energy service).

  • The phone numbers will be listed under one persons name, who will be responsible for payment of the mobile plans if there are excess charges, or once the free renewals have ended
  • After signing up, we’ll email you the steps required to redeem the two free UNLIMITED 15GB mobile plans - you'll have until 30 August to redeem your two free plans.
  • The exact steps required will vary depending on whether you’re an existing amaysim mobile customer and we'll provide all the details within this email

When will it all be up and running once I have signed up?

As soon as you sign up, we’ll begin setting up your energy service and will be in touch with details surrounding the activation of your service.

Within 2-3 business days of signing up, we’ll email you the steps required to redeem your two free UNLIMITED 15GB mobile plans - you'll have until 30 August to redeem your two free plans.

The time it takes to connect your energy will depend on your billing cycle with your current energy provider, with the switch taking place on your next scheduled meter read. This can take anywhere from a few days to 90 days depending when your meter was last read.

Are there any strings attached?

Everything we do at amaysim is amazingly simple and transparency is key. There are no lock-in contracts.

With no lock-in contracts across amaysim products , customers are free to leave amaysim energy at any time, however, if you leave within the first year, you’ll forfeit the remaining free mobile plan renewals.

What happens after the first year?

After your year of free mobile, if you continue using the UNLIMITED 15GB plans you’ll be charged $40/28 days for each plan - (current price as per our our Critical Information Summaries).

If you’re looking to change mobile plans after the first year, you can choose to do so.

As we have no lock-in contracts, you’re also free to move on at this stage if you find you’re not satisfied with the service - we’re quietly confident however that you’ll want to stay!

What if I switch energy providers and leave amaysim?

With no lock-in contracts on any amaysim service, customers are free to leave amaysim energy at any time, however, if you leave within the first year, you’ll forfeit the remaining free mobile plan renewals.
