Whether you’ve snagged an extra nugget in your Maccas meal or found a fiver in an old jacket pocket, nothing beats life’s simple wins.

But life can often be at its least simple when dealing with a service provider. Having worked for a fair few over the years I’ve picked up a few tips and tricks to help you get the most out of your various accounts.

Is there an app for that?

Keen to get on top of your accounts ASAP? Downloading your service providers’ app can be one of the fastest ways. Here are the top three I recommend downloading:

  1. Your bank’s app – handy for checking your balance and finding the nearest ATM;
  2. Your telco’s – to stay on top of your usage and credit; and
  3. And your Opal/myki/Metrocard/go card/SmartRider app – to top up on-the-go.

We’re always suggesting that our customers to download our free amaysim app for iOS and Android, so they can stay in control of their mobile service from the palm of their hands.

Keep an eye out for savings

You might be able to score yourself a couple extra bucks from your provider with promo codes, discounts and vouchers by opting-in to receive marketing materials from your service provider.

We love to keep the good times rolling here at amaysim by offering new and existing customers great deals. If you’re thinking about joining amaysim, check out our Compare Plans page to see if we’ve got a deal at the moment on any of our mobile or data plans.

Switch to a non-contract telco

Simplicity is more than just about convenience – it’s about freedom. That’s why our mobile plans come with no lock-in contracts. Locking yourself into a mobile contract is like pre-ordering all your dinners over the next year – how do you know exactly what’s right for you?

Why not check out our sweet range of simple, one-switch mobile plans? You can even bring your existing number to amaysim. Have any questions about switching to amaysim? Let me know in the comments below and I’ll hook you up with an answer.
