We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to add PayPalto our list of online payment options for both existing Prepaid and Postpaid customers.

This means that, along with credit and debit cards, direct debit and BPAY, you can pay for your amaysim service using your PayPal account.

Setting up PayPal in just a few easy steps

To set up online payment with your PayPal account, all you’ll need are your PayPal details – that’s the email address connected to your PayPal account and your password. Regardless of whether you’re Prepaid or Postpaid, just follow these simple steps:

  • Log in to My amaysim and head to “My Payments
  • Click “Change” next to Payment Methods
  • Select the PayPal option from the drop-down list and “Continue to PayPal”
  • You will be redirected to a PayPal window where you can enter your existing PayPal account details.
  • Select “Agree and Continue” and you will be taken back to My amaysim.

If you’re Prepaid, the cost of your amaysim service will be debited from your PayPal account whenever your plan renews or you purchase a new product. But if you’re Postpaid, you’ll receive a bill at the end of each month with a list of all your monthly charges. We’ll deduct these charges from your nominated PayPal account within ten days.

The only time where PayPal won’t be available as a payment option is if you’ve just signed up to amaysim with a Prepaid account – but don’t worry, once you’ve activated your SIM card you can hop into My amaysim and change to PayPal (just follow the steps I’ve listed above).

Should I set up online payment if I haven’t already?

Paying for your amaysim service online is faster, easier and more convenient than having to hassle around for a voucher every time your plan expires or you run out of credit. Once you set up online payment, whether that’s with a credit card, via direct debit or PayPal, you can just sit back and enjoy your amaysim service without any interruptions – as long you’ve got enough money in your account to pay for your plan.

If you have any questions about payments and billing here at amaysim, head to our online Help and Support – it’s available 24/7 (making it perfect for late-night emergencies) and has answers to over 250 FAQs.

Cheers,
Simon – amaysim’s billing guy
