There’s no greater feeling than being in control – especially when it comes to your amaysim service. You’re always free to use our self-service channels like My amaysim, our apps for Apple and Android, and our SMS shortcuts.

But let’s be real, things don’t always go as planned and you might need some help from us. If that happens, you can get our help without having to wait on the phone with an earful of cheesy on-hold music (because life’s too short for that). Let me give you the full scoop on our most helpful customer support channels.

1. Help and Support

Help and Support as a tech-savvy version of your mum – whenever you have a phone-related problem, head straight there to get the quick and reliable help you need.

It’s got answers to over 250 FAQs with dedicated categories on things like payment options, our plans and even 4G to help you find the answers you need. It’s also available 24/7, making it perfect for late-night emergencies (just like mum!).

2. Live Chat

For some more hands-on help, hop over to Live Chat – you’ll find the orange Live Chat button on the bottom right side of your screen when you’re on our website. Click on it, then fill in your details to be put in the queue. We don’t mean to brag but our Live Chat reps have a 95% satisfaction rating, so you’ll be in good hands.

For Live Chat hours, check out Help & Support.

3. Facebook and Twitter

We can also lend you a hand over Facebook and Twitter – just pop us a message on our Facebook wall or tweet us @amaysimAU and we’ll hook you up with a solution. To protect some of your personal details, we might ask you to send your details to us via email or private message, so be sure to have them handy.

For Facebook & Twitter hours, check out Help & Support.

4. Interactive Voice Response (IVR)

IVR stands for ‘Interactive Voice Response’ – it’s really just a fancy name for a phone menu that responds to certain words and phrases you say. Our IVR makes it simple to control your amaysim service without having to listen to cheesy hold music. You can get information on your usage at any hour of the day (or night) just by mentioning a few key phrases, as well as do things like redeem vouchers and change plans. To use IVR, just call 555 and follow the prompts.

5. Email

You’re free to email us at for help with your service. Our aim is to get in touch with a solution within 48 hours.

Try to be very specific when you tell us the problem you’re experiencing, when it started, and what you’ve done yourself to try and fix it. The more details you provide the more we can tailor the solution to your problem.

That’s our support channels explained. When in doubt, always head to Help and Support before contacting us – you’d be surprised by how easy some fixes actually are.
