November 2010 – Four Germans and one Aussie launch amaysim, disrupting the telco dinosaurs with its BYO mobile phone proposition and SIM-only plans.
June 2011 – amaysim shakes things up by launching one of Australia’s first unlimited national talk and text mobile plans.
November 2013 – amaysim celebrates the milestone of helping half a million Aussies make their mobile plan easier.
March 2014 – amaysim launches it 4G plans running on the superfast Optus 4G Plus network.
July 2015 – the amaysim team rings the bell at the ASX and starts trading as a publicly listed company.
November 2015 – launching its suite of UNLIMITED plans, amaysim offers unlimited national talk and text and a range of data inclusions to suit everyone from the wallet-conscious to those with a huge appetite for data.
January 2016 – amaysim welcomes online-led mobile service provider, Vaya to the amaysim family.
August 2016 – with the purchase of Australian Broadband Services, an Aussie internet provider, amaysim lets the country know it’s planning to enter the broadband market.
November 2016 – the amaysim group reaches one million customers.
